Waterproof Bicycle Headlight 1600 Lumens with Power Bank and Aluminium Body

This bicycle headlight is built for cyclists who need dependable lighting and extra power on their rides. With a maximum output of 1600 lumens from two Cree XML2 LEDs, it provides a wide 125° floodlight that illuminates the path ahead. The unit offers six light modes, selectable via a press button or the included detachable wired switch, so you can adapt brightness to different conditions. An overheat protection circuit helps maintain stable performance during extended use. It can also serve as a power bank to charge other devices, adding practicality beyond lighting. The IPX6 waterproof rating and silicone waterproof button offer resistance to rain and splashes, though the light should not be submerged. The body is made from aerospace aluminium alloy 6063, and the mount fits handlebars with a diameter of 22mm to 35mm, with quick mount and release for easy attachment and removal. Measuring 118mm x 53mm x 32.5mm and weighing approximately 201g, it is a compact addition to your handlebars.

Features and Construction

The headlight combines a robust aluminium body with a sealed button and a secure mounting system. Its design focuses on practical use for commuting, trail riding, or any low-light cycling.

Material and Build

The aerospace aluminium alloy 6063 body provides a rigid housing that helps protect the internal components. The silicone waterproof button contributes to the IPX6 rating, which means the light can withstand rain and splashes but must not be submerged in water. The detachable wired switch allows you to change modes without reaching for the main unit, which can be safer while riding. The overheat protection circuit is included to support stable operation and long service life, though specific longevity data is not provided.

Size and Practical Fit

With dimensions of 118mm x 53mm x 32.5mm and a net weight of approximately 201g, the headlight is compact enough to fit most handlebars without adding excessive bulk. The mount bracket accommodates handlebar diameters from 22mm to 35mm, covering a wide range of bikes. The quick mount and release feature means you can easily attach or remove the light when parking. The wide 125° floodlight pattern helps illuminate the road ahead and side areas, useful for urban commuting or unlit paths.

Uses and Placement

This headlight is suitable for a variety of cycling activities and can be mounted on most standard handlebars. Its additional power bank function adds convenience for longer rides.

Event or Professional Use

For organised rides, commutes, or training sessions in low light, the 1600-lumen maximum output and six modes allow you to match brightness to the environment. The detachable wired switch enables quick mode changes without taking your hands off the bars. The IPX6 rating means it can handle wet weather, although it should not be submerged. The power bank capability can be useful for charging a phone or GPS during extended outings, provided you have the necessary cable.

Everyday Home Use

For daily commuting or leisure rides, the headlight offers a practical lighting solution that can be quickly removed from the handlebar mount when not in use. The USB rechargeable battery means you can top it up from a computer or wall adapter. The compact size and 201g weight keep it manageable, and the cool daylight tone provides clear visibility. The run time of 1.5 to 34 hours gives flexibility for short trips or longer rides, depending on the mode chosen.

Benefits and Buying Value

The combination of high output, rechargeable battery, and rugged construction makes this headlight a versatile choice for cyclists. Its dual function as a power bank adds extra utility.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

The built-in 5000mAh battery is rechargeable via USB, reducing the need for disposable batteries. The aluminium body and silicone button are designed to be wiped clean with a damp cloth when needed. The IPX6 rating means it can be used in rain without damage, but it should not be submerged. There are no specific care instructions provided beyond avoiding submersion, so minimal maintenance is required.
